• The PhD work was highly evaluated with 2 student grants award. 2 scientific papers published & another 4 under processing • Research achievement was transferred to a venture project “Intellimat-Machine Learning Driving Fatigue Analytics for Predictive Maintenance of Non-rotational Infrastructures”• Working on SAFE and LEAD projects (sponsored by Swiss nuclear inspector ENSI) and INCEFA+ project (sponsored by European Horizon 2020)• Studying the fatigue behavior of stainless steels under different mechanical & environmental loading• Performing various materials mechanical tests: tensile, fatigue, charpy impact test, nano-indentation• Characterizing the materials with OM, SEM, EBSD, EDX, TEM, FIB, 3D tomography, roughness test• Performing metallographic preparation: cutting, grinding, mechanical-&electro-polishing, etching and etc.• Analyzing stress-strain state with FEA (Abaqus) to study internal pressure & geometry effects• Analyzing the test data with Excel, Mathematica, Matlab, Pandas, Numpy, etc.• Independently developed python based toolkit for big data semi-automatic wash, analysis and visualization• Developing physically-based and statistically-based (machine learning) fatigue prediction models• Innovatively applied ANN, GBDT, Random forest and mined materials data for fatigue behavior prediction• Initiatively revealed the behavior & mechanism of mean stress and high-temperature water on fatigue• More than 100 fatigue tests, 6000 SEM images, 2000 TEM images and 600 EBSD images were gained. • Supervised 2 interns and help training 6 apprentice in Physical Lab.• Contributed reports, posters & publications in 7 scientific conferences and attended 4 summer schools
