  "Climate is inheritably unpredictable." Climatic changes and variations are an integrated reflection of a multitude of factors. My research efforts focus on assessing the variations of different hydro-climatic parameters and processes, and how they change over time under natural and anthropogenic influences over regional scales. Utilizing the modern era evolved geospatial, and various LSM datasets, their processing, and analysis; I derived and developed methods to quantify the combined influence of different hydro-climatic parameters over the Indian subcontinent. Further to the development of methods, I also developed prediction and forecasting models for hydroclimatic extremes over India. My research contributed to gaining knowledge to manage hydrological resources and benefit society. Show less
