  Radio Access Network Operations and maintenance (O&M). Maintenance: My job is to guarantee NE health at all times through clearly defined industry standard work processes and procedures. To achieve my objectives, I work with other departments that include RAN Planning & Optimization, RAN Field Operations,Transmission planning & Operations, PS & CS Core. Key issues that get my attention are: IuB interface capacity & Link quality, Base-band & RF equipment health, RNC/BSC health, resource utilization and optimization. Operations: I do central implementation of network parameter adjustments on RNCs & NodeBs at the instance of RNPO team. e.g CPICH & TX power, CAC & Baseband processing capacity upgrade on NodeBs Coordinate NodeB commissioning and certify service availability in collaboration with RNPO. I do capacity upgrades across all subsystems on RNC, including Interface pools (IuB), Service processing (control plane & User plane resources) and switching among others. Show less
