    • Program Director and Host
      • Sep 2020 - Present

I host "In the Past: Garage Rock Podcast," a music commentary show which analyzes popular songs from the 1950s and 60s in the genres of garage rock, R&B, girl group, and doo-wop. The podcast is an extension of my interests in popular culture studies and my co-host Erik Komarnicki and I strive to find discover something new or to uncover some surprising insight (however small) in each episode. Erik and I have been posting a show once a week for two years now, which requires dedication and passion, and every week I am selecting music, researching for our upcoming shows, and writing capsule descriptions for that week's episode on our Buzzsprout page: https://www.buzzsprout.com/1456510 Show less
