It is an ex ante analysis comparing bio-based PHB bottles with conventional PET bottles on their environmental performances from cradle to grave, using life-cycling assessment. Research activities include data acquisition, harmonization, modelling using SimaPro, interpretation of the results, reporting and presentation. Interacting Impacts from Air Quality and Climate Change Factors on Carbon Sequestration of Grassland Ecosystems A meta-analysis was carried out for this thesis project to quantitatively measure the impacts from five drivers, which are increasing atmospheric CO2 concentration, nitrogen deposition, warming, ozone exposure and the shifts in precipitation patterns. The experimental data were extracted for natural/semi-natural grasslands in Europe, Northern America, some cites in Asia and Oceania.
