  Duty: Improve CTR (Click-through Rate) and CVR (Conversion Rate) prediction of the recommended items on 8 advertising positions at the home page of the e-commerce App to increase the advertising income. Maintained daily data streams of user browsing history and reorganize them as the input to training models using Hadoop. Performed model optimization on DeepFM and DCN models, including selecting the suitable deep layer and cross-layer structure, activation function, feature combinations, learning rate, batch sizes etc. Models were built using Tensorflow. Explored potential features and performed feature selection by sampling from user behavior data via MapReduce. Introduced “no click exposure” feature to the DCN model and applied feature crossing with “user location”, “access time”, and “product sku” features. Increased the number of clicks by 2.28% and total consumption by 2.33%. Show less
