  *SCAPE Co. Ltd is a non-profit organisation with its mission and vision rooted in support of youth, talent and leadership development. The organisation aims to facilitate youth-oriented programmes and support within various communities of youth interest in Singapore. I am a Senior Executive, running Programmes for youth specifically in the areas of personal discovery/development and entrepreneurship. Some of my responsibilities are as follows:• Conceptualised and organised capacity building events such as panel discussions, talks for entrepreneurs and aspiring entrepreneurs • Implemented and executed a series of conversations as part of Personal Discovery Programming which aims to enable youth to see possibilities, be open on different perspectives on issues • Liaised and partnered with various youth and organisations in creating programmes under Entrepreneurship and Personal Discovery Programming

  International Enterprise (IE) Singapore is the government agency driving Singapore’s external economy. It spearheads the overseas growth of Singapore-based companies and promoting international trade.I was an intern at the Middle East and Africa Group which my main job role was to assist in the organising of Africa Singapore Business Forum 2012. Organising the forum was a valuable experience as through the tasks I was assigned, I had the chance to learn about Africa which I did not have any knowledge of. Handling the various tasks with my fellow colleagues had also taught me the importance of working as a team. The main responsibilities I had were as follows:▪ Researched and analyzed information on pan-Africa ▪ Prepared briefs, speeches, panel questions, and key messages ▪ Consolidated information for internal and external dissemination ▪ Liaised and coordinated with internal and external parties

  The Singapore Youth Olympic Games Organising Committee (SYOGOC) is the organisation in charge of organising the inaugural 2010 Youth Olympic Games.During my time at SYOGOC, I was part of the Schools Programme branch under Culture and Education Programme (CEP) Division. It was an enriching experience as I was exposed to various tasks from data entry to exhibition co-ordination. Furthermore, I got to meet youths and work with colleagues from all over the world which was a good cultural exchange experience. Some of the tasks I did during the stint are as follow:▪ Coordinated Singapore 2010 Friendship Fabric exhibition, one of the CEP activities held during the Singapore Youth Olympic Games. ▪ Assisted in the operations for Singapore 2010 Friendship Camp and Singapore 2010 CEP Seminar held prior to games time.▪ Provided inputs and support for various CEP activities

  Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) is one of the two integrated resorts in Singapore, located on the island of Sentosa.I was attached to Market Development department which mainly focused on clinching partnership deals for RWS. It was my first time of working with colleagues of different nationalities. Due to the cultural differences, the working styles of colleagues differ. Hence, this internship had taught me the ability of adapting to different working styles quickly. My job scope in RWS was to provide support for the account managers and the tasks include: ▪ Assist in preparing and cleaning up of drawings of floor plans, section and elevation views of F&B outlets and any other attractions needed for partnership discussions.▪ Aid in obtaining relevant, updated drawings and information from relevant parties like document control centre.▪ Help in compiling and researching of information needed for partnership or marketing purposes.
