As the GM of the China market, I led the team efforts in developing the China market. Having achieved the sales increase by 10 times, the China market became the largest regional market of the company. 2. As a Tech lead, I worked in India for one year. I led the local engineering team to have revamped the company's 8-year-old legacy system. This major upgrade adapted the system to the OTA's demanding Internet traffic and concurrency requirements, even for the events like Double 11 Festival. The system facilitated company to achieve increasing its overall business by 300%. I applied agile development method, reducing the product release cycle from two months to one week. 3. As a solution provider, I solved many challenging issues stemmed from its complex supply chain, such as multi-currency settlement, minimizing impact of exchange rate fluctuations on quotation, risk control of financial settlement, the integration of multi-GDS, etc. I frequently visited key customers and suppliers around the world with the operation and product teams to learn about their needs and pain points and to find solutions.
