Marcel Bruins
For more than 8 years, I’ve been reporting to Wim in his role as Sales Manager for Flowserve Flow Control Benelux. As a real people manager with a wide vision, Wim can define clear, challenging, but realistic goals and objectives. Wim always encouraged me in initiatives and activities. He created preconditions for me and the whole sales team to be successful in a difficult tendency of the market. I enjoyed working with Wim and thank him for the way he contributed to my career being a sales professional.

I have reported to Wim for nine years. First in my role as project sales engineer and later on in my role as manager inside sales. Wim was able to keep me motivated and got the best out of me and the rest of the team, knowing exactly what was needed at the right time. He leads by giving confidence, encourages ownership and challenges individual team members with projects and increased responsibilities (like my promotion to manager inside sales). Wim is honest, a strong team player, a very pleasant person to work with and someone you can always rely on. He has very good innovative ideas and has the ability to think out of the box. I wouldn't mind reporting to Wim again!
