Upon joining Halifax Fan in 2014 as a Design Engineer, I first met Wayne and noted him as a highly technical and pleasant person. Later when I joined the sales team, Wayne was assigned to mentor me and show me the ropes of the role. This was probably the best thing that happened to me in the organization as Wayne is one of the most positive, inspiring and encouraging persons around. The role of a technical sales engineer is by design very demanding and requires one to have a holistic engineering approach. It constantly tests one's technical and social skills, an example of which would be establishing customer intimacy through direct customer contact and operational excellence. With Wayne's right mindset and profound experience, there couldn't have been a better mentor for me or anyone else training in this role. I think he fits the bill perfectly not only in engineering but many other fields with his dynamic and quickly adapting personality. His hobbies of practicing, tutoring and commentating on Martial Arts alongside writing a blog (and podcast) to share his ideas on how to motivate kids, teach them life lessons and make them great humans, only affirms my claim. I was also very fortunate to meet Wayne's family outside work and travel with them on a few occasions. This allowed me to witness what a great father Wayne is to his two wonderful boys. He certainly practices all the tips and tricks mentioned in his blog on them two, to give them the best chance at life. Overall, one can never point out all the great stuff about Wayne, just because there's so much. However, he is a very humble person despite all his intelligence and multi-talented personality. Also, as he currently is, he can be an integral part of any other business and can make any firm see new highs like never before!

I have had the pleasure of working with Wayne for 2 years. He is very customer focussed and uses his breadth of experience in fan selection and his knowledge of the industry in working closely with customers. Wayne's role is of technical sales but also encompasses project management in successfully delivering major customer contracts. I find him conscientious and professional in his general approach.
