Various USAF Civil Engineering Developmental Roles
-
May 1988 - Jun 2010
Served our United States Air Force in a series of active-duty military (1988-1998), reserve military (1998-2022), defense contractor (1998-2003), and civil service (2003-present) positions between May 1988 and June 2010. Highlights include more than 15 years of service at Travis Air Force Base (Fairfield, CA) through multiple military and civilian roles in support of installation operations and maintenance, progressively increasing in responsibility. Part-time reserve military positions during this time included 3 years on the joint engineering staff of US INDO-PACOM, and three years commanding a reserve civil engineer squadron (approx. 200 Airmen). After completing nearly 10 years of active-duty military service in 1998 I spent 5 years as a consultant and program/project manager with CH2M Hill, Inc., before beginning my civil service career in 2003. Other experiences include service at Kirtland AFB (Albuquerque, NM), Eareckson AFS (Shemya, AK), Air Force Institute of Technology (Wright-Patterson AFB, OH), and HQ Pacific Air Forces (Honolulu, HI).
