Here I was tasked with welding and rigging dutie onboard the Polar King where I had to liase with crew from Dof subsea GC Rieber and Maersk . We were tasked with buoyancy aid replacement on a live riser on the GP3 FPSO in the Dumbarton Field .This was the first time it was ever completed successfully . I was also tasked with co- ordinating permits to work and task risk assessments and tool box talks . We also done vessel to vessel transfers . While I was working for K-svets we were working on the construction of the extension to the Preem petrochemical refinery . I was tasked with various welding and rigging duties , Duties which included the welding of pipework ranging from 2inchs to 10inchs , I also had to tie in with Hi-sab another company tasked with some structural steel erecting and welding duties where I welded heavy gauge structural steel . Rigging duties which included lifting of big pipe from 6 inch to 32 inch and of pumps which weighed in excess of 1 tonne and other parts which could weigh up to 5 tonne all from heights of 50 meters are so .
