I am currently working as a Solution Analyst for Exipay. The work I get involved with ranges from app development through to merchant management, acquirer integrations and so forth. Being relatively new, I have been priviledged to implement new transaction types such as cash backs by analysing all it's concerned levels from merchant onboarding, app implementation, user experience improvements, engaging with 3rd parties to acquire specialists knowledge, developing the system to facilitate my analysis outcomes, etc. I also was responsible for overseeing the integration into a 3rd party acquirer, conducting L3 dry runs and communications with the relevant stake holders to ensure systems are ready to go. I also assist with security from a governance/compliance point of view. Exipay is an exciting start up which presents exciting opportunites and I plan to deep dive into these to help create solutions that brings value and growth to the business. Show less

My responsibilities include development in payments processing projects which includes integrations to various acquirers, cryptography, solutions design and implementation, using payments acquirer protocols such as Postbridge, AS2805, Base24. Knowledge of payments messaging standard ISO8583. Experience with working with hsms such as Thales. Development technologies used include Java, Angular, Jsf, Mysql, Azure as well familiarity with Jpos libraries. Experience with security trusts and implementations, including key exchanges, pin encryption, and so forth. Also experienced with the different key schemes implemented in different regions such as those that fall under AS2805 rules using Kek's, or Zmk's as used in other regions such as South Africa. I worked in both the Product and Technical team's looking at potential business opportunities and turning that into technical products. I filled the role of analyst, developer and technical/solution's architectural roles. In addition, I have also participated in compliance and governence issues surrounding the Fintech industry such as PCI and P2PE. I have also built complex systems where merchants may route to multiple acquirers configured by their own business agreements. I have experience with e-commerce having built integrations to allow the secure processing of online payments as well card tokenization in collaboration with external vendors.The areas of the company I have been involved in ranges from integration into acquirers, to merchant/organisational management, payment app development specifically integration into POS sdk's, governance and compliance, UX design, business analysis, solution design, etc. I do enjoy being involved in all parts of the business, no is not an option. As part of SOA architecture, I played a Technical Architect role for defining the ESB, its services, their interfaces and components as well the internal SOA patterns such as Vetro/Veto, Request/ Reply and Orchestration which are now the standard to which services are built in the organisation. I come with exposure to a combination of SDLC frameworks such as Agile, RAD, Iterative and some XP. I am passionate about providing the best possible solution that has simplicity well endowed into it.
