I offer the space to be heard and supported empathically without any judgement. He believes that counselling gives the individuals a safe space to explore themselves and address issues that have been difficult with them in life to give them an improved self worth. I have an integrative approach to counselling which is using more than one method to achieve greater awareness depending on the requirements of the individual. I may use the person centred approach to explore their feelings at the present time or the psychodynamic approach to look at past events in their lives and understand how they have affected the present time. With a background of an immigration consultant, I am accustomed to dealing with sensitive issues with patience and understanding. The role has given him experience of many cultures which has helped him develop an understanding of differences in society. I also provide care for individuals with mental health issues under the Croydon Council's Shared Lives scheme. I have an instinct for seeing things through people’s frame of reference in order to help them cope with their emotions more effectively. I have experience with anxiety, anger, drug addiction and depression. I am an Integrative counsellor and registered with the BACP.
