From the moment Adam walked through the door, you could tell this person would be special. Over the years, each placement candidate raised the bar in terms of performance. Adam basically holds the world record. The ultimate professional, he grasped his job function extremely quickly. Put in the hard work and honed his knowledge of Lenovo's processes and became a valued member of our team. To add to this, he is one of the nicest people i have met and he is mature beyond his years. I would recommend that he comes back to take on a full time position in the future. But, whatever path he chooses, any company should hire him based on the qualities he has shown throughout his time here at Lenovo. He should be proud of his achievements and will be sorely missed.

During my year long placement at Lenovo, I supported the public sector sales team. Upon conclusion of my placement I was nominated for NTU Placement Student of the Year by my employer. Day to day duties included: - Providing an end to end customer service from outlining customer needs to providing the quote and ensuring a speedy delivery should an order be placed. - Covering/assisting both internal and external account managers with their daily tasks. - Communicating with global logistics, end customers, channel partners and customer fulfillment. Other key events: - Participation in sales and marketing initiatives such as Waterloo Station and BETT Show. - Completion of a 10 week sales skills course by Mentor Group. - Visiting a key partner to form a better relationship between themselves and Lenovo, a vital part of my student project on Server & Storage business. - Helping to build a better relationship between Lenovo and the MKCL team. My role at Tesco involved monitoring the dates of the stock in various departments of the store making sure that nothing had gone out of date and reducing any stock that was about to expire. A vital part of my work was speed and efficiency. As I was on the shop floor, product knowledge and being customer friendly were also prioritised. I also helped out on deliveries of goods into the store.
