Trial and appellate law practice. Started a bankruptcy practice at the Kubosh law firm and then moved this bankruptcy practice to my own law firm in order to allow it to grow further. Spin-offs are done for a variety of reasons, and often we hear about them when a subsidiary is not doing well. In this case it was the opposite as the bankruptcy practice was thriving and needed to be under its own entity in order to realize the best rate of growth. It has since been taken to new levels.
