Watanyoo did outstanding work in IST 301. He is always very attentive, well-disciplined and works very hard to achieve at the highest level. It was my pleasure to work with him and see his progress.

I was a team member of the project named "Thailand Agriculture", an intern. We used satellite images to study the effect of climate change on rice cultivation in Thailand. We used satellite imagery from Landsat 5 Thematic Mapper (TM), Landsat 7 Enhanced Thematic Mapper Plus (ETM+), and Landsat 8 Operational Land Imager (OLI) and Thermal Infrared Sensor (TIRS). Precipitation data were obtained from the Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission (TRMM) and Global Precipitation Measurement (GPM) missions. The images were analyzed by using land cover classifications, Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), and the Scaled Drought Condition Index (SDCI).
