During my time at the paper, (which began in 1987), I filled the roles of senior writer, columnist, editorial writer, opinion editor, night editor, Page 1 editor, Sunday Age foreign editor, production editor of both The Saturday Age and The Sunday Age and book and music reviewer. I have won two Walkley Awards (from four nominations) and four Quill Awards, as well as international design awards. I have published two books of poetry and have had poems published in Quadrant.
