He has written many tools used for analysis of infield performance of one of our BB10 Z series products. Like a normal IOT tester he is doing carrier and vendor IOT testing but since BlackBerry is developing an own platform he is also creating own test series and is very inquisitively identifying areas of imperfection in the platform requiring improvement. His very deep involvement in the field performance log analysis is giving him the ideas for these tests. These areas would stay unnoticed in standard testing but they would often create a serious problem in the live network or be a performance issue to the least. Like that Warner is able to deliver a very significant contribution to the company’s success. At the same time the development of own test cases is allowing Warner to acquire a unique qualification. Warner’s involvement in the infield performance log analysis earned him a reputation beyond his immediate team and it became his task to report on certain aspects of the in field performance testing to the management. Warner has an excellent development potential and would be a testing expert or systems engineer no future employer would like to miss.
