  Field Coordinator for PESCO (Peshawar Electric Supply Company) under USAID funded Sustainable Energy for Pakistan SEP and with collaboration of Tetra Tech ES Inc., subcontractor to USAID. Working to improve operational performance and reduction in AT&C losses of PESCO and TESCO. For this purpose, designing a composite project to employ Aerial Bundle Cable (ABC), Advanced Meter Infrastructure (AMI) for the selected consumers, Energy Accounting, Consumer Mapping, Asset Performance Management and Protection System and Volt Var Optimization (VVO) in PESCO. Additionally, helped TESCO to establish a state of art planning and engineering centre equipped with modern software such as SynerGEE (for load flow studies) and ArcGIS (for Asset Management). Which in turn has enhanced infrastructure development and augmented planning and design capacity of technical staff. The main responsibilities are: Preparation of detailed field implementation schedule in close consultation with vendor/contractor. Coordination and monitoring of daily field activities. Planning of AMI Project implementation with closely liaison with PESCO Staff in both Peshawar and Khyber Circles of PESCO. Execution of AMR meters installation i.e. CT/PT and WC Meters. Arrange meetings with PESCO Staff for implementation of the Project to overcome the hurdles faced during the Project. Informing the Project Manager and Engineer about the the project implementation and progress. Prepare daily, weekly and monthly detailed activity and progress reports for the task under execution. Coordinate with DISCO's P&E department for the preparation of LT Proposals and issuance of the work orders. Coordinate and plan site visits of PESCO’s M&T Office for AMI Implementation and with Regional Stores for all field activities such as material movement. Assist in compiling technical and completion reports for the respective interventions in DISCOs. Collection and evaluation of data from the DISCO to gauge post-intervention benefits. Show less
