As a graduate research assistant and intern (3 months) at The German Development Institute / Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE) - one of the leading Think Tanks for development policy worldwide -, I worked for the institute’s climate research project (‘Klimalog’). Main tasks included: - The development and analysis of a database of non-state and subnational climate actions (the so-called ‘Global Aggregator for Climate Actions’ [GAFCA]); - Participation in the ‘ClimateSouth’ project on strengthening non-state climate actions in developing countries; - Coding and analysis of interviews (in Portuguese) on implementation in the area of the water-energy-food nexus; - Literature research for projects concerning the implementation of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development; - Coordination and facilitation of a number of conferences and events, including the 2017 Interconnections Conference, the Interconnections Zone during the 2017 Bonn Climate Conference (COP-23), and the 2017 Crossroads Conference Show less
