      As the Associate Director of the Jane Nelson Institute for Women’s Leadership’s Center for Women in Politics & Public Policy, my role within our center's mission is to prepare women for public service and leadership in their communities by showcasing the success of elected women and other women of influence in Texas. A primary goal of the CWPPP is to raise awareness of the many ways in which women can serve on commissions, school boards, and in elected positions.
