      Responsibilities include assisting in the planning of activities related to implementing the grant project of working with students who have sustained a traumatic brain injury. Attend regular meetings with the Project Coordinator and other staff to keep abreast of the activities within the three Pediatric Level 1 trauma children’s hospitals (Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, Vanderbilt at Monroe Carell Children’s Hospital, and Erlanger at Chattanooga Children’s Hospital). Assist with conducting needs assessments and evaluations for recipients of grant training and educational materials as a means to ensure that the internal control metrics are met. Support the production and distribution of promotional brochures, newsletters, and other culturally competent educational materials by providing printed and electronic materials to families, educators and healthcare professionals. Network with new community resources and maintain previously established contacts to ensure transparency of offered services. Establish ongoing contacts and share our services information with local hospitals and rehabilitation providers. Plan, organize, and implement training sessions for school personnel, parents, and other professionals in targeted Tennessee areas. Provide support and training to established "BRAIN Resource Teams" in Region and statewide. Submit monthly reports and other reports to supervisor as needed. Show less
