Associate Judge
-
Feb 2006 - Aug 2008
As a Juvenile Court Judge, I heard cases involving juveniles who encountered the criminal justice system (delinquency/detention hearings). I also oversaw deprivation proceedings where adults were accused of depriving a child of a fundamental right. I heard probable cause hearings and educational neglect matters. Consistently, I tried to make the most balanced decisions that not only sought justice, but also provided a holistic solution to a "broken" child.
