I had the opportunity to represent the voices of students from across Victoria and advocate for their needs and interests. One of the key issues that I focused on during my tenure was consent education, which I believe is a critical component of ensuring safe and healthy relationships for young people. In this role, I worked closely with my fellow Ambassadors to develop and implement effective strategies for promoting consent education in schools and beyond. I greeted and assisted customers, took their orders, prepared and served food and beverages, and ensured that the store was clean and tidy at all times. In addition to my customer-facing duties, I was also responsible for managing cash registers, reconciling sales, and maintaining inventory levels. I worked collaboratively with my colleagues to ensure that operations ran smoothly and efficiently, and that customer satisfaction was always the top priority. Show less

Participating in the GoIT work experience program at Tata Consultancy Services was an incredible opportunity for me to learn more about consultancy in the technology industry. I had the opportunity to create and present a business solution, collaborate with other team members, and gain valuable insights into public speaking techniques, presentation skills and frameworks, and the importance of effective management.
