JOB SUMMARY - Responsible to provide support, maintenance and monitoring services to all core application system and server including centralized storage and backup devices. - Lead in deployment of these services and facilities including coordination with 3rd party i.e. Group ICT, vendor/ suppliers including that involve system integration. To ensure server related facilities in the data center are well managed and performance of every items/ equipment are operated at desired capacity/ requirement/ expectation. - To establish, manage and monitor annual support and maintenance services of all servers and core application system including software license i.e. Microsoft EA, etc. - Responsible in managing, maintaining and monitoring the company's IT-CDRP including disaster recovery simulation. - To ensure backup procedure and schedule on core application system are done according to the specification and requirement. - To ensure reliability and consistently of backup data. To manage off-site backup storage where necessary. - To establish a backup log book/in KMS for reference, to submit monthly backup report to HOD for monitoring and compliance. - To undertake the responsibility arranging product POC which will contribute to knowledge sharing, process enhancement and performance efficiencies. To coordinate for implementation if deem necessary. - To assist and cooperate on the implementation of ICT Plan. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: - To ensure servers and application systems are running as expected. - To reduce downtime by escalating the critical and complex issue to the relevant parties ASAP, when necessary. - To ensure system resources i.e. HDD, RAM, CPU are sufficient in order for the system to run at optimum performance. - To ensure all servers and core systems are covered by annual support and maintenance agreement. - Ensure operational problems are reported to superior/ HOD.
