i was lucky to be the first person welcoming and woking with Waleed in UNHCR Kuwait, we have worked on so many portfolios and activities successfully during our time collaborating and complementing each others roles in strengthening UNHCR's partnerships and launching several breakthrough campaigns and events in Kuwait. Waleed is sincere and dedicated and a great player when it comes to team work, i have witnessed Waleed evolve and develop during his time in UNHCR Kuwait. Waleed's writing skills are unmatched and have lead and assisted in successfully submitting concept notes and proposals while finalizing agreements and submitting implementation reports to partners and donors. i wish him nothing but the best!

I worked closely with Waleed when I was managing the private sector partnerships portfolio for UNHCR in Kuwait. Waleed joined UNHCR with an extensive past experience in the private sector. He was quite eager to serve the cause of refugees, and to learn as fast as possible in order to set himself on a speedy growth track. Waleed is professional, attentive to details, and open to apply the advice he receives. At the same time, he has valuable input and feedback especially when given the space to operate in an understanding and open work environment. Although I don't directly manage Waleed anymore, I am happy to see the development of his role in UNHCR's private sector partnerships unit. He is an integral member of the team, and constitutes an important asset in terms of organizational memory, proposal writing, donor cultivation and reporting, among other disciplines. I sincerely wish Waleed the best in his career, and I look forward to continue working with him.
