Outback Stores is a federal government funded non-profit organization, it has almost 40 stores in the rural areas all over Australia, as a finance officer I handle the finance of 4 stores. We use Sage for all the accounting operations. Cash Management: Bank Reconciliation for different Accounts. Income Management Operations. Weekly Report for Cash position of each stores. Adjusting under & over. Banking cheques from stores. Preparing Cash orders. Manual matching all the clearing accounts. Stock Reports for the end of week. Accounts Payable: Entering Supplier Invoices, calculations of GST measurement. Weekly payment run for the suppliers. Using purchase orders to create invoices. Going through Supplier statements for end of month to benefit rebate from suppliers & make sure to achieve a positive relation. Accounts receivables: Debtor Analysis Weekly Report of collection required from Debtors. Communicating with customers to assist with all their queries and make sure they make payment on time. Distributing invoices and purchase orders as per customers’ requirement. Reporting: Weekly Cash Position Reports for each of the Outback Stores. Weekly Payment for Supplier Reports for each of the Outback Stores. End of Month Reports: Cash Management Income Management Accounts Receivable Accounts Payable Stock Take PO Validity Royalty Funds for Medical Every End of Quarter, a very specific Deadline was followed to make sure all the managements reports are accounted in Time for the Board of Directors & Budgeting.
