Using safe techniques as per OEM Recommendations on the assigned production platform. Performs technical, craft specific corrective maintenance. Identifies requirements for major repair, replacement and or workshop reconditioning work. Updates preventive maintenance records. Receives incoming work requests, discusses work required with the Mechanical Supervisor, and estimates time, materials or spare parts required to complete the work. Receives schedule of repairs, with appropriate "permit to work" and arranges for tools, test equipment etc. Plant Services Machine Preparation, Maintenance and Repair. Overhauling of pumps, gearbox and online leakage rectification, Glass level gauge maintenance, review the spare parts and advice manager regarding spare parts. Read the technical drawing and manual and explain to coworker.
