As part of our responsibilities as a Physical Education Basic Graduate Teaching Assistants, our duties require us to instruct four Physical Education Basic (PEDB) courses per semester. Furthermore, GTA's must maintain a Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Certification to administer the PEDB courses. The annual event happens the first sunday in May at the Burney Center at UNCW's campus. The GWSHOF honors the top tier athletic talent in Wilmington, NC and the Greater Wilmington Area.
