DIK was founded in 1919 and is a part of Swedish Basketball and Track & Field history. With around 1 000 members the main focus is on the youth sections of the organisation, but with the objective to have senior teams and and members competing at the next highest level. My employment gave me comprehensive experience of management and operating an organisation with large part of outgoing work and social commitment. My role: - Responsible for ongoing finances, planning activities, managing memberships, recruiting coaches, education and planning competitions within the club. - Shared responsibility for planning and executing the yearly Basketball Tournament with about 2 500 participants and 250 workers (shared with Solna Vikings). - Convening the board and section board meetings. - General contact with sports federations and municipality.
