Bio
Jan Wessel (JW) Ham
Peter is not only a very inspiring person to work with, but more so his knowledge of both the commercial and the journalistic part of the newspaper industry enables him to interact easily between the two. We all know that without cooperation between journalism and the sales people there can be no success in creating new forms of information that actually make a profit in the day to day newspaper business. Peter can make it happen. He thinks out of the box, is realistic and eager to innovate and create new business.
Henrico van Lammeren
I met Peter de Vries in the time when he was still a chief editor. As chief editor he was capable to think out of the box and to act as a chameleon in different situations. Peter is one of the few chief editors I met who could transfer to a more commercial and open minded vision in relation to journalism. Now as a Publisher in electronic media, Peter shows that he is even capable to leave print in it's traditional way and to act as a entrepreneur in the media of today and tomorrow.
