My key responsibility is the development of warehouse and stock processing applications. Among them: • Dispatch Platform (N-tier, separate UI, own DB and price calculation services). It prepares postal labels and manifests for 7 post services and serves 10 warehouses. • Dispatch Platform Next Gen (nginx, rest services for numbers, labels, consignments and manifests). • Receiving (2-tier, web UI). Application allows to account stock which is delivered to company warehouses. • Sorting (3-tier, web UI for handheld scanners). Sort items to totes for further packing. • Stock Feeder (windows service). Sync inventory between Navision and primary selling platform. Among recent projects: • Personalization. Multi-stage process of starting personalized goods sales. process consisted of many stages: 1. Selling stock of acquired company (identitydirect.com.au) on MySale’s sites, then manufacture & dispatch from warehouses 2. Development of microservice-based manufacture platform which allows to manage manufacture tasks and operate with manufacturing hardware (XMPie) 3. Moving manufacture equipment to MySale’s warehouse and switching manufacture process to use the new platform 4. Connecting old selling platform to MySale’s primary selling system via APIs • Dropshipments. Two-side dropshimpent sale model was implemented: when MySale sells, other sends and vice versa. During this project an integration with large (400+ outlets) sports goods retailer (sportsdirect.com) was performed. On the daily basis I make code & requirements compliance review, processing release requests / verify release success, elaborate & verify requirement specification documents, provide expert estimations, being responsible for the success of implemented stories. Extra • Incident officer role for Warehouse & Admin teams (8 devs) — define/log corrective/preventive actions, provide reports to the head of the department. • Scrum officer role for Warehouse Team (5 devs).
