Voumani was one of the first Analysts in our team and joined us very early in his career. His growth and development over the last 4 years is a testament to his hard work and attitude. He is incredibly well informed and tied together with strong analytical skills (including Tableau Desktop) means he is great at connecting the dots and has really grown his strategic contribution to our product portfolio. Voumani is a team player and I will miss having him in my team!

I provided research support within the Urban Land Program, which is focused on building communities of practice in the context of informal settlement upgrading. The research undertaken was packaged and disseminated to relevant stakeholders in South Africa and internationally. In 2017, the program produced/maintained a policy tracker, thematic booklets, a guide for municipal practitioners, as well as a poster. I was part of the International Honors Program, offering US students the opportunity to study abroad in three different countries. I was part of the South African organizing team which was based in Cape Town. As a field assistant I was in charge of logistics, organizing transportation, teaching venues and site visits. Additionally I was tasked with offering academic support to the students on the program. This program takes place over 4 months from September to December every year.
