Jul 2018 - Apr 2020
I spend my day creating test cases, test plans, manually testing and complete tickets or tasks for several projects. I use Geeks' own in-house testing software "Pangolin" which uses C# to create automated test cases and Geeks' own in-house agile project management website "Geeks AMP" to record all bugs and issues for each project. I have so far been on six projects during my time at Geeks Ltd. Three of which are still on-going. They require me to use my knowledge on automated testing using "Pangolin", API testing using "Postman" and design testing using "Pangolin" and design testing plugins to ensure that the products have minimal problems and of the highest possible quality. I use my two hours a week of training time to study the ISTQB Foundation with my colleagues in the "ISTQB Study session" I have organised every Tuesday and Thursday. I print out mock papers for my study group before every session and we help each other to understand the terms and methodologies used in the syllabus. Show less

Project Support Manager and QA Tester
-
Jul 2016 - Jul 2017
My placement at Mobile Pie was where I developed my skills as a Project Support Manager by assisting developers with schedules, assigning them with tasks and tickets and aiding them by producing helpful spreadsheets. My communication skills were tested within meetings, ensuring the team were on the same page and we all knew the pros and cons regarding an idea. Furthermore, I developed my keen eye for detail by doing Quality Assurance testing. My QA Testing helped the projects go faster as the developers could then quickly sort out bugs as soon as they were seen. Some example projects that I helped out with are linked below. Show less

From working at Upland Primary School in Bexleyheath in June 2010, I have gained independence as I took responsibility from finding and getting myself to the school, as well as, looking after the children. It also helped me to develop my team working skills.
