Aside from dipping into the retail and HR departments, I took on the role of being a Tech Team Member. Coming into this new role, I only knew about basic apple products and other minor electronic products. I can now say I am more knowledgeable on Televisions, gaming accessories, cameras, Amazon electronic products, consumer cellular items and more. Although Target in general requires employees to sell and assist guests, I explored a whole new side of selling. Guests who come to buy electronic products are more demanding on the employee to have expertise and familiarity with the product. Electronic products are more expensive so it is reasonable for guests to demand more of me. I had to become familiar with every item in this department and also had to learn the return policies, and service protection plans . - Consulted customers on a relational level and handled customer complaints professionally. - Assisted customers in person and via phone calls, updated inventory, placed online orders, pushed products and trained new employees. • Styles Consultant
      • Sep 2017 - Aug 2021

I engage with many guests and assist them with any question they may have relating to apparel: sizing, color, and styles. Recently, Target has implemented their new app in which we can now place online orders for guests from the store. We are encouraged to sell this feature to the guest by informing them that shipping is free. I have also been allowed to market and merchandise swimwear at Target. My other basic duties are to keep my department stocked, neat, and folded.

    • Human Resources Assistant
      • Dec 2019 - Dec 2019

I reviewed over 30+ applications and was given a guide so that I could know which type of employees we needed and qualified for the job. I felt very trusted and honored to have been part of the interview selection process. Another memorable part of my position was creating a sense of community to Spanish speaking employees. I did this by making all of Targets signs regarding meal punches, work apparel, and safety and equipment in Spanish using Microsoft word. Additionally, I would keep the breakrooms stocked up in snacks and foods. Show less
