  I have more than 13 years of experience as a tax advisor and provides tax services in the Dutch Caribbean (Curaçao, Sint Maarten, Aruba and Caribbean Netherlands). I have been involved in various projects such as (inter)national group restructuring and reorganizations, consultations on and implementation of (inter)national tax planning, implementation of group financing arrangements and negotiations with the Tax Authorities, including obtaining tax rulings for high profile corporations.In addition, I am since the year 2008 head of the Tax Compliance and Tax Accounting Team. As head of this team, I have gained experience in managing tax processes, identifying possible tax risks and analysing tax performance for (high profile) clients. I work with and therefore have substantial knowledge about IFRS. I can convert the tax position of (high profile) clients into a format that meets the IFRS requirements. In addition to the above, I have extensive experience in providing expertise and assistance during internal and external audits as well in designing and effective implementation of a tax function to contribute to the overall tax management (tax governance).
