When I was working at GPL, Vivian was a System Administrator and I was an Analyst Programmer. Our cubicles were opposite each other so we referred to each other as neighbours. Vivian is a reliable, smart and generous worker. Vivian is futuristic, practical and not afraid to take initiatives when needed. He was always learning about the latest trends and worked with management to improve operations. He also sought out feedback from the end-users. GPL has many branches throughout Guyana and Vivian is probably one of the most well-known employees among the staff. Vivian also demonstrated leadership qualities. For example, he managed to convince management to provide learning and development opportunities for all of the employees in the Information Technology Department, an action that not only benefitted his colleagues but the organization as a whole.
