  This Ph.D. project aims to develop a novel method. Its purpose is to design innovative exploration techniques for mineral resources on the sea floor which will allow for the production of a map depicting potential mineral resources. This technique will utilize multiple inputs including, drilling data (rock type, mineralogy, rock chemistry, pore waters, etc.), geophysical prospecting data (seismic and resistivity), bathymetry, sea current, geodynamics. This project involves extensive collaborate with JAMSTEC (Japan Agency for Marine-Earth Science and Technology), one of the leading research institutions in marine science.
