PhD Student in Systems Biology

Thesis title: “Investigation of Intra- and Intercellular Signaling through Mass Cytometry Based Single Cell Methods”, in the laboratory of Prof Bernd Bodenmiller. In my PhD project I have combined cutting edge technologies, efficient experimental designs, quantitative data analysis and statistical approaches to investigate to which extend and through which pathways cancer cells adapt their phenotype to their microenvironment in a 3D tissue model. On the way I collaborated in developing scalable and broadly applicable data analysis pipelines and enjoyed to introduce novice users to the wonders of doing data analysis and visualization in R and Python.
