Placed under European, South American and Bangladesh handling section. Development of CADs and related work. ANALYZING TREND FORECASTS: After being aware of what has been already done by the company and the understanding the basic know-how of fabric construction, I started to gaze through trend magazines and forecasts to look for inspirations and themes. The major source was WGSN, Alberto and Roy and Premiere Vision. ANALYZING CLIENT FOLIOS AND COMPANY’S PRODUCT LINE: This was where brand study was carried out and I was able to recognize the brands with the type of fabrics. I wanted to make sure that the designs served as a pool and can be used when ever needed. The collections worked were made keeping in mind the forecast, Arvind Product Portfolio and Arvind’s customer’s folio. DEVELOPING CADS: This was a later stage when I started making sketches, in the form of initial concepts, based on the project brief. This is basically to concretize ideas and directions in each decided categories. This process would consider colors and structures thought for each and various parameters of productions. From this initial process of conceptualization, certain concepts would be selected to be worked upon further, to take the form of final concepts. Show less
