Accountable for the quality, maintainability and evolution of software for the CDMA Base Station Controller (BSC), containing over a million lines of code for an approximate product value of $150 million. Key Responsibilities: Provide technical analysis and advice to senior management and product management in understanding customer needs and product value propositions, in order to develop accurate and realistic requirements. Review and approve all enhancements to software and design artifacts, from the requirements through the design, integration, test and product deployment phases of projects that span on average over 18 months. Consult on and develop design estimates for new software projects, participate in recruitment decision making, participate in quarterly and annual performance reviews, propose process improvements to improve product quality and reduce product costs. Provide technical leadership in area of project planning, software release ownership, configuration management, design/simulation tools and be a company-wide technical liaison for the product. Accomplishments: Successfully delivered three software releases including several features for the CDMA BSC.
