Reverse Garbage (RG) is a not for profit social enterprise in Sydney, Australia, established to promote innovations in reuse in order to contribute to protecting the natural environment.I worked to deliver community based environmental education through creative reuse and resource recovery in partnership with schools and other organisations. I supported workshops linking the education activities to key sustainability outcomes including reducing waste and extending the life of resources.

Career break

I have taken the opportunity to have a career break. I plan to use this opportunity to engage in a number of personal projects and travel, also advance my skill set by (among other things) learning Spanish and developing my knowledge of sustainability management and how this is approached in various environments.

Work to sustain and develop the environmental performance of an industrial manufacturing site through internal and external engagement projects, data collation and interrogation. Example subject areas include waste and energy management, environment permit and other legal compliance. I work on implementing, sustaining and auditing HSEMS management systems onsite i.e. ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 and ISO 50001. I provide support for the health and safety function onsite primarily in chemical management and occupational hygiene.
