  I work as a professor at the Master's Degree in Design of Learning Environments, Universidad Tecnológica del Uruguay (UTEC). I also work at the Post-Graduate Diploma in English Language Teaching Universidad ORT Uruguay. I am a tenured professor of Linguistics and Literature at the National Teacher Education Council. I hold a BA in Literature, a BA in TEFL, a MA in Human Sciences (Language, Culture and Society), and is currently working on her PhD (Linguistics) dissertation. I also co-direct the academic journal Tens@ diagonal. I have been part of different research groups, and have largely studied English Language Teaching in Uruguayan State Primary Schools. My MA thesis focuses on Interaction in Ceibal en Inglés classes, and for my PhD dissertation I have researched EFLT in rural Uruguayan schools, where the language teaching is technology mediated. I have published many academic articles, book chapters on ELT and on Language and Literature. I also co-wrote a book on language teaching and gender. Show less
