      Research topic: 'Prediction of added resistance in waves for Wind Assisted Sailing Propulsion (WASP)' In this project, I analyzed various theoretical model for predicting added resistance in heel and leeway conditions and came up with a novel numerical model. For validating the said model, I used numerical analysis modules of ANSYS AQWA and Octopus office. Using MATLAB, final results was verified with other theoretical methods. Validation of the numerical results conformed well with the experimental data obtained in TUDelft towing tank. Show less
