- Participation in projects involving MINLP, MIP and NLP optimization of the production schedule of an oil refinery using its mass balance and the optimization of the scheduling and logistics of the delivery of LPG from a refinery using its mass balance in partnership with Petrobras, both problems having more than 10,000 variables each and resolved in solvers like CPLEX and DICOPT.- NLP modeling, simulation, and optimization of the operational conditions of an ammonia production plant by its mass and energy balance, to reduce its energy costs and being able to estimate a reduction of 1% in energy cost without any investment and solved both in DICOPT and in the Honeywell UniSim simulator.
