The ITF is used for the validation and Interoperability tests for the CBTC system, and lays down the Interface specifications for the Interoperability (I2S) specific to New York City, while also providing a simulation suitable for this environment.• Flushing Line CBTC Project (S-32723)o Researched and developed a comprehensive Operations Plan while analyzing the operating procedures of the current Flushing system. This Operation Plan has now been designated the standard for all future Operation Plans across the Transit System.o Assisted the System Integration Engineers in establishing a full Cut-over strategy for the Intermediate and Final deliveries of the CBTC technology.o Cooperatively overseeing the Automatic Train Supervision Prototype design and all the deliverables for the Tools and Simulators being manufactured by Thales Transport and Security for the current project.
