Every once in a while, you are blessed to have a student in one of your classes that pushes you to grow as a teacher and helps you to see gifts in yourself you could not see. Vincent is one of those people. While I never met him, as he was a student in an online class, the dialogues I had with him online during the semester changed the way I have taught the class since then. Vincent is one of those students who actively claims his education, demands that he do his best, reflects critically on what he hears, and learns about himself, life and the world around him.
