  This research focused on using millimeter wave and terahertz (THz) spectroscopy to study the hydration dynamics of protein monomers and aggregates in solutions. The measurements were compared to conventional spectroscopic methods (UV-Vis and fluorescence). The skills and knowledge acquired during this work include: - Designing of different flow cells and sample holders to optimize the wave-sample interaction. - Building new or improve existing lab setups and optimize the interaction between the electromagnetic waves and the samples. The neurological effects were studied in lab animals and showed that modulated electromagnetic waves do have an impact on the behavior of animals. My teaching activities included exercise and practical sessions for the course 'Modelling of Physiological Systems' and writing and updating course notes.
