      Don Bosco Preparatory High School sits on a 35-acre campus with 1,000 students, teachers, and staff plus visitors and vendors for athletic events, such as football games with 10,000 spectators, and special events running 24x7. Recruited by the Governing Board to develop, implement, upgrade, and modernize safety and security systems for the school. Oversee a staff of employees and contract professionals, working 24x7. The school consists of four academic buildings, two athletic fields, parking for 550 vehicles, a data center, and housing for telecommunications and backup utility equipment. Created a physical security system that is based on concentric levels of control and protection, offering redundancy in lines of defense. Key Contributions:  Architect and primary designer of the campus physical security and safety programs using innovative solutions including license plate readers, CCTV analytics, access control, and asset management with a comprehensive integration strategy.  Provide on-going safety and security training for all members of the campus community and build and maintain external relationships that enhance the school’s ability to respond to threats, incidents, and emergency management. Hire additional external staff and police services for campus events.  Installed a business intelligence platform that delivers a comprehensive view of all data gathered through the use of data analysis and reporting to inform strategic, tactical, and operational decisions.  Redesigned and upgraded risk assessment standards and protocols and ensure compliance with regulations.  Upgraded and enhanced all security hardware and software, preventing unauthorized personnel from entering campus and buildings/areas that can only be accessed by individual permissions.  Communicate status, issues, and pertinent incidents to senior leadership and the Board of Governors.
